Asserting a strong focus on employment generation, Pramod Sawant said that no youth should remain unemployed under the leadership of Narendra Modi and his government.
Highlighting key initiatives, Sawant pointed to the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), which aims to equip young people with industry-relevant skills and open up career opportunities beyond traditional government jobs.

He noted that the scheme offers training across diverse sectors, including home nursing, housekeeping within the tourism industry, and roles in the IT sector. According to the Chief Minister, the programme also ensures 100% placement support for trained candidates.
Sawant encouraged youth to take advantage of such initiatives, emphasising the need to adapt to evolving job markets and explore emerging career paths through skill development programmes.
