North Goa Police have significantly intensified their preventive policing measures, conducting an extensive verification and enforcement drive across the district. According to the Superintendent of Police, North Goa, authorities have verified 66,479 tenants and 33,123 domestic servants as part of ongoing security checks.
In addition, police teams inspected 105 scrapyards and 221 kabadiwalas, while also making 3,596 preventive arrests to curb potential criminal activity.
Night nakabandis have been strengthened as well, with officers verifying more than 90,000 vehicles and screening over 2 lakh individuals during late-night operations. Officials say the heightened measures aim to enhance public safety and deter unlawful activities across North Goa.
