MARGAO, OCT 2 Rajya Sabha MP Shantaram Naik has asserted that those who do not consider the 16th century revolt of the Gaoncars of Cuncolim as a freedom struggle are unpatriotic and charged vested interests for misinterpreting the sacrifices of the ancestors of the Gaonkars, who fought valiantly against the oppression of the Portuguese agents.
