VALPOI: The Valpoi Municipal Council along with RTO, traffic and officials from mamlatdar’s office inspected the town to make necessary traffic arrangements during festive season.
Valpoi Municipal Council vice chairperson Sayyad Sarfaraz said that it has taken all steps to regulate traffic movement and urged the concerned authorities to immediately implement traffic plan to avoid traffic congestion.
“Traffic chaos has prevailing in Valpoi for a long time and the VMC has been trying to implement a traffic plan but till date nothing has been done. The current situation should serve as a warning for Valpoi Municipal Council and other higher authorities to wake up and act immediately before the situation worsens, said Vishwesh Prabhu, a social activist.
