MARGAO: Cuncolim Police have registered the offence against one Pritam Faldessai from its jurisdiction for allegedly abusing a woman under the pretext of marrying her.

The police said that based on the complaint from a woman, the accused since 2018 till date have been sexually abusing her on the pretext of giving false promises of marriage.
The police said that as per her complaint the alleged accused later refused to marry her and the contrary later married another woman.
The police said that the accused on September 21 assaulted the complainant and forcefully took her in his car and sexually abused her.
