PONDA: Twenty-five-year-old Uttar Pradesh native Pavan Singh, on Monday, died of electrocution while conducting repairs at a transformer at Mollem.
According to Collem Police, due to heavy winds, a branch fell on a power line thereby snapping six electric poles.

The power was cut at the transformer where Pavan was carrying out the repair work.
Police suspect that Pavan may have come in contact with another overhead high tension line which caused his death.
