MARGAO: Hariom Rathod (21) of Nagpur, Maharashtra arrested by Margao police under NDPS Act for possessing ganja was produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class Margao on Friday and remanded to four days police custody.
Police had found in his possession ganja worth Rs 2,05200 in Malbhat, here and had registered an offence against him under Section 20 (b) (ii) (B) of NDPS Act.
According to police, a complaint has been lodged on behalf of State stating that at Sulabh Toilet Malbhat, Margao, the Rathod was caught red-handed in possession of 2.052 kilograms of greenish colour fruiting and flowering tops of plants suspected to be ganja.
