CALANGUTE: The 55-year-old F&B manager at a starred resort in Sinquerim who was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old employee of the hotel has been remanded to seven days police custody.
According to Calangute Police, accused Vikas Sharma has been remanded to seven days police custody and Police is recording the statements of the hotel staff and probing all angles leading to the sexual assault.
Meanwhile in the kidnapping case, accused Neil D’Souza has been remanded to four days police custody and police is investigating the case.
It may be recalled that Anjuna Police had arrested D’Souza on charges of kidnapping an hotelier’s son and two others and demanding a ransom for their release.
