VASCO: A 35-year-old rider was killed and two others were seriously injured after their two-wheelers collided against each other at Sancoale on Saturday night.
The deceased has been identified as one Mangal (35), whose full details not available, a native of Jharkhand. According to the police, the accident occurred when Lalit Mohan was proceeding with his two-wheeler from Vasco to Cortalim while, Mangal and his friend Shailendra Kumar Chowdhary, riding pillion were heading towards Vasco.

On reaching near Sancoale, their two-wheelers collided with each other and all were thrown off. With the impact, Mangalwho sustained severe injuries died on the spot while, the other two injured were rushed to the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim for treatment.
