PANJIM: The Women and Child Protection Unit of the Goa Police has arrested one more person in connection with the sexual assault of a minor boy from Bicholim.

Raj Chari, 33, who was allegedly an accomplice of the main accused, self-defence trainer Kapil Deulkar, was arrested on Friday. Kapil is in custody for sexually assaulting multiple minor boys, under the guise of performing a medical examination. Chari, who allegedly sexually abused the children after offering them chocolates, money and cell phone recharges, has been booked under provisions of the POCSO Act. The victims were mostly from low-income families, and too afraid to speak up.
