One remanded in mobiles theft case

Sheik Samaodin son of Sheik Shafrudin, resident of Pimpalwada, Nagoa who was arrested by Margao police for theft of mobiles on Wednesday, has been remanded to four days police custody by Judicial Magistrate First Class, Margao.

MARGAO: Sheik Samaodin son of Sheik Shafrudin, resident of Pimpalwada, Nagoa who was arrested by Margao police for theft of mobiles on Wednesday, has been remanded to four days police custody by Judicial Magistrate First Class, Margao.

Samaodin was arrested on complaint lodged by Rajesh R Bandekar, Agonda, Canacona for theft of his Blackberry phone worth Rs 12,000. 

Meanwhile, Margao police have received two more complaints against  Samaodin from Deepaka Deepak Desai, Fatorda and Sheik Anif Ansari, Davorlim, that the accused, at the OPD of Hospicio Hospital, on the pretext that he had no balance in his cell phone, borrowed their mobile phones and disappeared with the same.
