Opposition Members rushed to the well of the House before the start of Question Hour on Thursday. Members were agitating after Cuncolim MLA Yuri Alemao raised the issue that his name and that of the Cuncolim Municipality chairperson were not included on the invitation for the Chieftains Martyrs Day memorial function scheduled for July 15. Yuri said, the government had spent over Rs 33 lakh per minute on the swearing-in ceremony of the cabinet but had photocopied the invitation for Chieftain Martyrs Day.
