“I had to virtually told to go from one department to the other for two long hours by the Hospicio authorities. This is sheer negligence on the part of the hospital. The common man is made to suffer for no fault of theirs”, he said.
When the media asked Hospicio medical superintendent Dr Siona Gomes to shed light on the incident, she promised to look into the matter. She, however, hastened to add that the X-ray department had been facing problems for want of a radiologist.
Meanwhile, a citizen Usha Shirodkar told the media that she has spend Rs 10,000 only on medicines at Hospicio since the hospital does not provide any medicines for the patients.
