MARGAO: Additional Sessions Judge II Sayonora Telles Laad on Tuesday posted for orders on December 14, the bail application moved by Pankaj Pawar accused in the gruesome murder of 38 year old Basuraj Barki at Curchorem.
Pankaj had moved for bail on grounds that he is only accused of destroying evidence and not of the murder directly and hence should be released on bail. However Public Prosecutor Visitacao Costa argued that the High Court had rejected the bail application moved on the same grounds by another accused in the matter.
