Orissa native dies in mishap
PERNEM: A 22-year-old native of Orissa, but residing at Tuvem-Pernem, died in a road accident at Gaonkarwado-Tuvem on Sunday.
According to reports, the accident took place at about 4 pm when Jevier Bangra and two others were traveling on a cycle. On reaching Gaonkarwado, the cycle dashed against a passenger bus (GA-OI-Z-9099), which was proceeding towards Mapusa. Bangra died on the spot.
Pernem Police arrested bus driver, Vilas Ambekar, in this connection and PSI Sushant Gawas is investigating the case.
