Ousted 4 times, Pramila re-elected Kudne sarpanch

MAYEM: Pramila Ghadi was unanimously elected as the sarpanch of Kudne.
The election meeting was attended by Panchas Poonam Pethkar and Mangaldas Naik and Pramila Ghadi.
The opposition panchas including Deputy Sarpanch Suresh Kamat and Panchas Sakha Malik, Prashant Parab and Rajendra Falkar did not attend the meeting. Presiding Officer Gurudas Parab, the extension officer of Bicholim BDO, declared Ghadi elected as sarpanch.
It may be recalled that Pramila Ghadi was voted out of office four times by the four opposition panchas; however, Ghadi was again elected, as the sarpanch as the post is reserved for women.
