CURCHOREM: The Palm Sunday was observed at Guardian Angel Church, Curchorem-Sanvordem with Eucharistic celebration and prayers.
At the start of the Eucharistic celebration, Parish Priest Fr Vital Miranda and Assistant Parish Priest Fr Jovier Barretto blessed the palm fronds without the presence of congregation.

“Knowing what awaits Him, Jesus went ahead in his life with much courage and trusting in His heavenly Father as we celebrate the palm Sunday. May the same Jesus strengthen each one of us and especially those who are suffering from coronavirus to go ahead in life and pray with Jesus who is the way, life and truth. Let’s follow His footsteps,” Fr Miranda said in his homily.
Meanwhile, the leaflet containing the liturgy to be followed during the Holy Week and Easter was sent to parishioners through social media and urged them not to take part in any of the liturgical services in the church till further orders.
