PANJIM: The hearing in 17 cases has been postponed by the Directorate of Panchayat in view of national lockdown owing to COVID-19 pandemic.

Additional Director Panchayat Florina Fernandes in a notice issued has informed that all the cases scheduled for hearing from March 23 to April 30 have been adjourned and postponed in June and July.
The cases were to be heard before Court of Additional Director of Panchayat.
She said that the decision has been taken due to the pandemic of coronavirus and lockdown in the State.
