BICHOLIM: The Animal Rescue Squad rescued an Indian Pangolin (Manis Crassicaudata) from a garment shop at Marcela.
According to information, ARS Chief Amrut Singh and Tanmay Naik acted after receiving a call from one Ajay Sawant. The pangolin entered a garment shop belonging to Mukesh Borana behind the Marcela panchayat.
The pangolin is a rare species and feeds on ants and is also known as an anteater.
