Shock and anger grows amidst doubts over
a fair investigation
Carrying a sword in the car just shows that there is a criminal intention from Zaine Almeida. I am confident the police will build a watertight case and also hopeful that the judiciary will set an example by giving the harshest punishment to this man. This will ensure that such an incident does not recur. Moreover, no night club or bar should be held responsible for such an incident because it is one of the things that can happen anywhere, anytime. What is required is that such dangerous characters, who are a threat to society, should be behind bars.

The police should take proper measures to ensure that the perpetrator is not out on the streets as he may hurt somebody else. He probably should undergo some treatment before he is let loose in society. It is a deplorable case as a citizen of Campal, Panjim, and the State has been attacked. My anger is much more than being Rafael’s (one of the two victims) friend.
