The Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, Paroda, has become the first parish to host the veneration of first-class relics of Saint Carlo Acutis after he was officially declared a saint on September 7, 2025. The historic event has drawn widespread devotion and enthusiasm among the faithful.
The sacred relics were brought to Paroda from Cuncolim Church in a grand ceremonial procession led by Parish Priest Fr. George Ratos, Assistant Priest Fr. Josely Rocha, and Fr. Jose Antony Da Costa, along with Capuchin Superior Provincial Fr. Steve Rodrigues.

The arrival of the relics was marked by a reverent and joyous welcome, featuring a live brass band, First Holy Communion children, youth groups, and parishioners, all of whom participated in the ceremony with deep devotion and prayer.
Saint Carlo Acutis, known globally as the “Cyber Apostle of the Eucharist,” has inspired countless young people through his faith and digital evangelisation. Alongside the veneration, the church is also hosting an exhibition on Eucharistic Miracles, highlighting the saint’s mission of spreading devotion to the Holy Eucharist.
The veneration of the relics and the Eucharistic Miracles exhibition will remain open to the faithful until January 6, 2026, offering parishioners and visitors a rare opportunity for prayer, reflection, and spiritual enrichment.
