PANJIM: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on Sunday morning was taken to the Goa Medical College and Hospital for a regular check up and subsequently discharged within hours.
“The Chief Minister was taken for a regular check up in the morning and was later taken back to his home after he was discharged. He is stable,” informed the Chief Minister’s office.
The Chief Minister has been suffering from pancreatic ailment since last one year. In the recent past he has been under total medical attention with doctors round the clock by his side.
Last week he was admitted to GMC and discharged after three days. During his stay in GMC doctors from All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) who were treating him in Delhi too had visited him.
He has been admitted to different hospitals in Mumbai, Delhi and the USA during the last one year.
