MARGAO: Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar has invited Orixtt Porjecho Awaz (OPA) to his official residence on March 3 to discuss the DefExpo issue.
“We have just been informed (around 6:30 pm) that the CM has invited OPA members to his official residence for a meeting to discuss the DefExpo on March 3 at 5 pm. We will attend the meet, and thereafter, we will hold a press conference at the Azad Maidan,” said Freddy Agnelo Fernandes, OPA spokesperson.
He added, “It’s been six months since OPA started protesting the DefExpo and Aero India show. Our government thought it would be prudent to talk to the people after six long months. Even then we will be present for the meeting.”
