MARGAO: After much delay the roads in Margao were repaired but the treatment appears worse than the illness as the roads are totally uneven and difficult for two wheeler riders to negotiate, who also have to deal with the dust blinding them.
Moreover, politicians who made a brouhaha about it earlier are now very silent.
The repairs of the pot holes have resulted in the repaired portion being higher than the road height and hence it is a see-saw ride for two wheelers. The entire road from MMC building to State Bank of India is one classic example of this. But what is shocking is that only some potholes have been repaired and the smaller ones have been totally ignored hence one can see potholes near Bank of India, Govind Poi shop, post office and even Grace Church.
