A pedestrian was reportedly mowed down in Panjim today after being run over by an allegedly drunk driver near Prasad Hotel. According to eyewitness accounts, the accused had attended a party at an illegal spa located on the second floor of the same building shortly before the incident.
Witnesses claimed the driver appeared intoxicated when he left the premises, and moments later fatally struck the pedestrian on the adjoining stretch of road. Authorities are verifying the allegations, including the reported illegal operation of the spa.
