OLD GOA: A 70-year-old pedestrian from Katyabhat, Old Goa, succumbed to injuries which he had sustained in an accident at Old Goa on Monday.
According to Old Goa Police, Rekha Gaunekar of Old Goa complained that a car (GA-03-P-5403) was proceeding from Old Goa by-pass road towards Santosh Garage Old Goa when it knocked down Ganapati Mestri.
Police further informed that the grievously injured Mestri succumbed to injuries on the spot. PSI Sagun Sawant is investigating the case.
