MAPUSA: Ports Minister Michael Lobo during door-to-door election campaign of Delialah Lobo in Guddem, Siolim on Tuesday said that people will get representatives who will serve them.
“A revolution that will start in Bardez will continue to Salcette. We target the six constituencies including Siolim, Mapusa, Saligao, Aldona, Thivim and Porvorim where candidate, who will serve the people will be given for the people and people will get government which hear them and taken a step ahead for the same. This step is not only taken by me but the youth who visit the government for employment, development and more,” said Lobo.
Comparing the development of Mapusa with Siolim, Lobo said, “Development works in Siolim have remained including basic infrastructure, employment, education and more and similar situation is witnessed in Mapusa where revolution is required.”
He said that he never said that he will be leaving the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) but party has sidelined some of the BJP karyakartas and he has raised the issue with Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant and State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade.
