Po gets going

PANJIM,  APRIL 8 (HR) — The  Mayor  of  the  Panjim City  Corporation  Caroline Po moves  for  sweeping  changes  in the  Panjim market  after  conducting  her  first  inspection  at  the  complex  today.
Speaking  to  Herald  today  Po  said  that  all vendors  have been  directed  to maintain  round-the-clock order,  cleanliness and  hygiene  within the  complex.
The  market committee  chairperson  pointed out  that  directives have been given to    flower vendors  in particular  to  maintain  a uniform  height of display  platforms  in a  bid  to  prevent  blockage  in  line of  visibility of  other  vending units  located  at  the  rear end. Po  also  said  that  two flower vendors  were  fined  by  the  municipal  inspectors for  littering  the  market.
