MARGAO: Margao police have begun investigations into the death of Assistant Water Resources Engineer Kiran Shripad Godbole by hanging, even as Quepem MLA Babu Kavlekar said that he had spoken to the engineer on Saturday morning over the phone to find out the progress of work on the retaining wall in his constituency at Khola.
