VASCO: A mid-aged woman from the Arossim-Cansaulim is suspected to have been killed after being attacked by a bull.
Suspecting the bull attack, the police are yet to find out the reason as to why the woman visited the site.
PSI Riyanka Naik informed that on June 22, Verna police received a call informing that a body of a woman was found under mysterious circumstances.
The police rushed to the spot and during investigation it was revealed that the victim was the owner of the property which is reported to be occupied by the tenants.
PSI Naik informed that the bull belongs to the tenants and the police suspect that the land owner may have visited the site to inspect the coconut plantation in her property.
PSI Naik mentioned that the exact reason behind the victim coming in contact with the bull is not known. However PSI Naik informed that as per the medical report, the victim sustained severe injury to her shoulder and to her lungs which caused her death. Tenants have been arrested in this connection. The investigation is in progress.
