South Goa, to transfer all his cases either to the Crime Branch or any other police station other than the Maina Curtorim police station and Margao police station.
Menino Fernandes has claimed that the in-charge of Maina Curtorim Police Station PI Harish Madkaikar is the relative of accused Sampada Vernekar alias Sampada Travasso and that he has conflict of interest in the case.
Fernandes said that four cases have been registered by Maina Curtorim police station, but there have been no investigations nor any arrests of the six accused in the case, even after providing the police with CCTV footage.
“PI Harish Madkaikar has also registered false chapter cases against me on complaints from lsaac Travasso and his family. PI Harish Madkaikar has conflict of interest in the matter as cited above and I will never get justice,” Fernandes said in his application to the SP.
