AAP turns meeting venue a fortress
The AAP meeting venue at Vasco appeared like a fortress, on Saturday. People who attended the meeting were surprised to note that the public meeting venue was cordoned off from all sides, with AAP volunteers maintaining high security. Even the journalists from Vasco were surprised to find AAP volunteers stopping them from entering inside the meeting venue without a special media pass that was to be obtained from the AAP volunteers.
Floral interruption to Kejriwal’s speech
Delhi Chief Minister and senior AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal’s public address at Vasco was briefly interrupted by a couple of minor incidents on Saturday. In the first incident, a common man with flower bouquet in hand wanted the same to offer to Kejriwal. Hearing his loud voice, Kejriwal told him that he would listen to him after the speech. Similarly, an aged woman and a drunken man also reached close to the dais to meet Kejriwal, however the situation was handled by the AAP volunteers.
Nobody knew his whereabouts?
It’s always kind of funny how the AAP members never seem to know the whereabouts of Arvind Kejrival. The Spokesperson Ashley Rosario and his entire team were clueless of the directions of the seafarer’s home where Kejrival was spending the afternoon, so much so that Ashley told us, ride around after taking the left turn at Maria Hall and you may find him and in reality also nobody could find the home of Minguel Fernandes.
Edwin’s insult to Elvis?
AAP Curtorim candidate Edwin Vaz was bragging of his years of living in Japan and the IT advancements there. Edwin even went on to say that in Goa the government service is horrible and government officers are inefficient. Only to realise that AAP Goa convenor and AAP’s CM candidate Elvis Gomes was smirking in the background, after all Elvis is a former government officer and was part of the system for 20 years.
And the scribes didn’t have courtesy
Undoubtedly, only Arvind Kejrival and members of the AAP were guest at Belinda and Minguel’s home at Vaddie, Benaulim. What is surprising is how the journalist especially the television journalist from all across India and even the local scribes without any courtesy made themselves comfortable at the Fernandes home, and eat into their fruits and cake slices without any intimation. It seemed a little shameful on our profession. And also the scribes got into a tussle of sorts with members of AAP’s social media team on who’s the real media and who should take front seats at the AAP public meeting at Benaulim.
