PONDA: The old abandoned PWD jeep which needs to be scrapped by government is occupying precious parking space near a turn, opposite the Ponda Municipal Council (PMC) garden, here.
The locals on one hand stated that they are already facing parking problems due to shortage of space and now fuming at the PWD for dumping unwanted vehicles by the roadside. The employees working at the PWD office at Ponda also stated that if this old jeep is cleared from the parking space by the roadside, it would provide created parking place for more vehicles.
