Majestic Pride Group director Shrinivas Nayak had reportedly received a warning more than a month before the firing incident in Porvorim, according to a report published in a daily.
The warning was allegedly conveyed to Nayak through a third person and was reportedly linked to a possible business rivalry.

Following the firing incident, a Goa Police team has reportedly travelled to Mumbai to question the person who allegedly conveyed the warning to Nayak. The individual, who is currently in judicial custody, has reportedly denied having any connection with the firing.
Police are continuing their investigation into the Porvorim firing and are examining the circumstances surrounding the alleged warning and any possible links to the incident.
