PANJIM: After clocking the highest single-day spike on Wednesday, COVID19 cases dropped to below the 200 mark on Thursday as the State recorded 191 cases. The deaths also came down to two and there were 166 recoveries.
A 67-year-old man and a 73-year-old man, both from Vasco were admitted at the ESI COVID hospital with co-morbid conditions, succumbed to the disease.
The confirmed cases on Thursday reached 7614 while the active cases are 2095. Recoveries stood at 5453, the daily health bulletin states.
Of 3376 samples, 1946 are negative and 191 are positive and 1239 reports are pending.
