According to the factory owners, they have been issued one month bills amounting from Rs 40,000 to Rs 80,000 under the heading ‘sundry charges.’
The unit owners on Wednesday rushed to the office of the executive engineer at Curti-Ponda and place their grievances before him.
Executive engineer Shivkumar told the unit owners to contact the Grievance Cell of the department at Vasco if they have any complains about the bills. According to Bethora Industrial Estate Association President Sunil Kesarkar, there are about 80 units at the estate and majority of their members have been charged heavy sundry charges in their bills for the period from February 3 to March 2, 2015.
