CURCHOREM: Just before Code of Conduct came into force in view of the Zilla Parishad (ZP) election, Power Minister and local MLA Nilesh Cabral inaugurated a host of projects completed under ZP schemes in Curchorem Constituency on Friday.
The first project to be inaugurated was a shed near the lake at Tolleawaddo, Xinc-Xelvona, constructed at a cost of Rs 1.6 lakh. Cabral congratulated Xeldem ZP member Hazel Fernandes for completing various projects for the benefit of the locals. “Today I have inaugurated around 17 projects which are roughly estimated at Rs 4.5 crore like roads, compound/retaining walls, crematorium and sheds in various wards of the panchayats,” Cabral informed.
