A pregnant woman suffered serious burn injuries after she was allegedly attacked by her partner with a hot iron box at Kodenchery in Kozhikode. She sustained burns on her hands, legs and other parts of her body. Sources said the woman had been facing continuous physical and mental abuse over the past six months. Reports also suggest she was confined inside the house for four days without sufficient food.
