VASCO: Some unknown persons effected entry into a house at Bharat Nagar Colony in Zuarinagar on Thursday and decamped with gold and silver ornaments and wrist watches, worth Rs 1.20 lakh.
Verna police said one Vinesh Palekar complained that some unknown persons effected entry into his house between 10.30 am and 7 pm on Thursday by breaking open the window grills. The accused persons committed theft of two gold finger rings, a gold coin, silver items and three wrist watches, all worth Rs 1.20 lakh.
The police have registered an offence under Sections 454, 457, 380 of IPC. Police Sub-Inspector Diago Gracious is further investigating into the case.
