PANJIM: Bahujan Samaj representatives and leaders will stage a protest on Sunday, November 6, at Azad Maidan, Panjim, against the failure of the government to provide reservations in post-graduate programmes for students belonging to OBC/SC/ST communities in the Goa Medical College and the Goa Dental College, Bambolim.
In a meeting of representatives of over 25 communities recognised under the State list of SC, ST and OBC held at Mapusa, it was decided to stage a protest to reiterate their demand to reserve seats for these students, which has been pending for more than 14 years. A memorandum signed by all the participants will also be submitted to the government.
