PANJIM: Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte said the public criticism reflects the quality of the overall state administration.
Reacting to Power Minister Nilesh Cabral hitting out at the Finance Department for not clearing files of underground cabling projects, the Porvorim MLA said the minister should instead stay at home.
“Another example of Pramod Sawant’s ego and internal power politics of BJP Goa is the current dissent between the Chief Minister and the Power Minister. The CM’s blind obeisance to only Central diktats is seriously affecting the cabinet’s morale and overall administration of the State government,” claimed Khaunte.
The former minister lamented that the decrease in COVID cases has been countered by the increase in fuel prices, thus making life difficult for the common man.
He said the government should at least reduce corresponding levies as a welfare measure.
Khaunte also gave suggestions regarding the vaccination programme.
