BICHOLIM: The Sanquelim Municipal Council (SMC) has directed closure of public swimming pools, gyms and other such establishments in the town.
In an order issued on Thursday, Chief Officer Pravinjay Pandit has directed closure of all the spas, massage parlours, gymnasiums, swimming pools, river cruise, night clubs and multiplexes in the jurisdiction of SMC till March 31.
The closure has been order in pursuance of the order issued by the State government directing all the public places, schools, colleges and places whether people gather in lager number.
