PVC enter quarters gouveia soccer

PVC Parra got the better of Saligao United 6-4 via the tie-breaker to enter the quarter-finals of 5th Pio Jose Gouveia memorial soccer organised by Youth Club of Colvale at Colvale ground on Sunday.
The teams were locked 1-1 at full time.
Saligao took the lead in the very first minute through Abhijit Govekar only to see PVC’s Peter Menezes level terms for Parra in the 24th minute through a spot-kick.
In the tie-breaker, Parra netted through Peter Menezes, Joachim Pacheco, Brijesh Shirodkar, Lawrence Pacheco and Claude Pacheco while Samir Rane, Alfred Rodrigues and Tyson Fernandes shot on target for Saligao.
