PANJIM: Public Works Department has clarified on the timings of the closure of the Mandovi bridges for checking deck levels.
The clarification says that on 27 and 28 October, between 6am and 6pm, and then between 11pm and 6am on the New Mandovi bridge one lane shall be closed for traffic. The note says that the other lane of the new Mandovi Bridge shall be opened for traffic in addition to the old Mandovi Bridge which will be fully open for the traffic.
On October 29 and 30, between 6am and 6pm, and also between 11pm and 6am, on the old Mandovi bridge one lane shall be closed for traffic. However, the other lane of the Mandovi Bridge shall be open for traffic in addition to the New Mandovi Bridge which will be open for traffic.
