MARGAO: The Public Works Department was at it again on Tuesday as the Internet services were disrupted the whole afternoon and was restored only at around 6 pm. The BSNL cable was cut near the Cortalim junction due to the road work taken up there.
While the area manager at Margao Sikander Akiwat was at Panjim attending a meeting, agitated internet users were seen at various telephone exchanges in Salcete like Chandor.
Internet services were disrupted on December 28, 2017 due to the cable being cut at Cortalim junction itself and was restored only on December 29.
