Quepem Coop Society in Panjim soon

The Quepem Urban Cooperative Credit Society will soon make its presence felt in the state capital, besides the towns of Vasco and Mapusa.
This was disclosed by Society Chairman Prakash Velip at the inauguration of its 17th branch in the state here on Friday at the hands of Fatorda MLA Damu Naik.
Saying that the Quepem Urban Cooperative Credit Society has grown over the years as evident by the number of branches opened across the State, Velip said the society will open branches in Panjim, Mapusa and Vasco in the near future as part of the expansion plans. “We have grown over the years, especially in the state countryside. The society has now two branches in Margao to cater to the growing requirements of the common man”, Velip said.
Vice-Chairman Subhash Fal Desai said the credit society is being run by professionals from various backgrounds, which have lent strengthen to the organization. “There are professionals, teachers, chartered accountants, farmers on the board of directors”, Fal Desai said.
