MARGAO: The Raia gram sabha was adjourned after villagers protested the panchayat’s reluctance to discuss the regional plan issue.
At the meeting, the sarpanch said that the panchayat was not prepared to discuss the regional plan issue as it was not on the agenda. He also suggested that they discuss the issue at the next gram sabha. This led to protests from the villagers, following which the sarpanch adjourned the meeting.
