Rape case registered

MARGAO: Margao police on Wednesday registered a case against one Savio (25) for allegedly raping an 18-year-old girl in his car. According to information, the girl, in her complaint to the police, alleged that the boy took her to an isolated spot near Sonsodo and raped her in his car on October 6. The incident reportedly happened between 12.30 pm and 2 pm on Tuesday. Police have registered a case under Sections 376, 323 and 504 of IPC and are investigating the same. The accused hasn’t been arrested.
