QUEPEM: Vijaywada-Morpila Sarpanch Prakash Velip said the reconstruction of the gutter near the main junction has been taken up at Rs four lakh.
It is pertinent to note that for the past several years the gutter gets blocked during monsoon as the water starts overflowing resulting in traffic congestion and accidents.
Velip said, “The issue has been causing a lot of inconvenience to the locals for many years and during the panchayat elections, I had promised to solve the problem. The work will be completed soon, which would provide relief to the people during monsoon.”
