PANJIM: The Airport Director on Tuesday urged the State government to reduce VAT on aviation turbine fuel.
After the Airport Advisory meeting Airport Director BCH Negi requested the government to reduce VAT on aviation turbine fuel to below 5 percent to help reduce flight operational costs. “This in turn would attract more domestic airlines and offer cheap tickets to passengers,” he said.
